Terms of Service

By creating a PCOWidget account or using the service, you agree to these terms. We have tried to keep them plain and readable. If anything is unclear, reach out and ask.
PCOWidget is operated by Comp Edge Solutions. These Terms of Service govern your use of the PCOWidget service, including the API, embeddable calendar widget, and supporting tools.
1. The Service
PCOWidget connects your Planning Center Online (PCO) account to your website, displaying your church's calendar events through an embeddable JavaScript widget. The service includes an API endpoint, the widget code, a signup flow, and a widget builder tool.
2. Your Account
- Provide accurate information when creating your account.
- Keep your API key secure. Do not share it in a way that allows other organizations to use it.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be authorized to use the PCO credentials you provide. Do not enter credentials belonging to another organization.
- One account per organization. Contact us if you have a specific need for more.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to display content you do not have rights to publish
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond normal widget operation
- Use the service in any way that violates Planning Center Online's own terms of service
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, CORS restrictions, or other access controls
- Resell or sublicense access to the PCOWidget API
4. Plans and Pricing
- All 5 layouts
- 1 registered domain
- Daily request limit applies
- "Powered by PCOWidget" credit shown
- Everything in Starter
- No PCOWidget branding
- Unlimited domains
- No throttling
Pro plans are billed monthly. Cancel at any time and your account continues until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the Starter plan.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice sent to the email address on your account.
5. Service Availability
We work hard to keep the service running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. If our API is unavailable, the widget simply does not render on your page. We are not liable for damages resulting from downtime.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or have been inactive for more than 12 months on the free plan.
6. Your Data
We store your PCO credentials encrypted and use them only to fetch your church's calendar data. We do not claim ownership of your data. You may request full deletion of your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that calendar data from Planning Center will always be accurate or current.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comp Edge Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PCOWidget.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
